Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend Event: Wine Edition
We are proud to be hosting an exciting Bookend event, all about wine, as part of the Brooklyn Book Festival! On Thursday, September 15 from 7:30 to 9:00pm, The Brooklyn Book Festival with the Wine Spectator and Brooklyn Winery invite you to enjoy some wine and literary talk. Tom Matthews of Wine Spectator will be on hand, and each guest will receive a free copy of the magazine.
Special guest Jay McInerney will be in attendance to sign copies of his books, which will be on sale at the event. Jay McInerney is a critically acclaimed author of ten books—eight of which are fiction. Time Magazine cited his first bestselling novel, Bright Lights, Big City, as one of nine generation-defining novels of the twentieth century. Since April 2010 he has written a wine column for the Wall Street Journal. From 1996 to 2007 he wrote a monthly wine column for Conde Nast’s House and Garden. Many of the columns were collected in his books Bacchus and Me and A Hedonist in the Cellar.
