The Brooklyn Generator Presents: The Dear Abby Plays

We’re looking forward to hosting The Brooklyn Generator's monthly play event in our Parlor room on Sunday, June 24 from 4:30 to 6:00pm.

One Friday evening per month, The Brooklyn Generator, curated by NYC actor and writer Erin Mallon, gathers 6 playwrights, 12 actors, and 1 theme. The playwrights have no clue as to what they will write.The actors are equally in-the-dark as to what performances they will give. That all changes very quickly once the writers randomly pick two actors' names and one piece of inspiration from a hat. On Saturday, the playwrights write 6 short plays. On Sunday, the actors perform these brand new plays for you at Brooklyn Winery.

This month's plays will be generated from letters to well-known advice columnists, hence...The "Dear Abby" Plays.
